Poyarkov charged in Zelensky threat case – SBU
SBU investigators have charged blogger Sergei Poyarkov in an investigation into criminal proceedings concerning threats against President Vladimir Zelensky.
This information was confirmed to a correspondent from Ukrinform at the SBU press center.
“Indeed, the indictment was delivered to Poyarkov,” said the press center.
The case was referred to the court, the ministry said.
As noted, Sergei Poyarkov is charged with a crime under part 1 of article 346 (threat or violence against a state or public figure) of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

The case has been under investigation since October 2019. They opened it in connection with one of the parodies of Poyarkov’s YouTube channel. In January 2020, the SBU presented Poyarkov with a suspected murder threat to Vladimir Zelensky.
On January 29, the Shevchenkovsky District Court in Kiev, choosing a preventive measure, released Poyarkov on personal obligation.
