Protective coveralls for doctors purchased at the expense of the Poroshenko Foundation have been delivered from Korea
A second batch of protective coveralls for medical workers has been delivered to Ukraine – 42.5 thousand units purchased from the Petro Poroshenko Foundation and Roshen in South Korea.
This was reported by the press service of the party “European Solidarity”.
“The second batch – 42.5 thousand protective suits for medical workers – arrived from Seoul to Kiev. The suits purchased by the Poroshenko and Roshen Foundation are transferred free of charge to hospitals across Ukraine,” the statement said.
According to the press service, 85,000 costumes have already been delivered from South Korea. In general, Poroshenko bought 130,000 protective suits. 30,000 medical suits made in China have already arrived in hospitals, which work in particular in the centers of the coronavirus epidemic. As of May 1, cargo from South Korea will disperse throughout Ukraine, the press service said.

The party also recalled that “European solidarity” requires that Parliament pass bills on the insurance of health workers and the introduction of mass tests – mainly for all employees of medical institutions and patients.
According to the leader of the European Solidarity Party, Petro Poroshenko, on the evening of April 30, the signatures of the extraordinary session during which the bills were to have been examined had been given by all the factions and all the groups of deputies, except the servant of the people. “I hope that among the members of the mono-majority, there are still people who are aware of their responsibility. And Monday-Tuesday, we can have a special session and pass the laws that doctors and patients expect. Because without the protection of doctors and the mass tests for coronaviruses, quarantine is suicide for the economy, “said Poroshenko.
