Ukraine is considering the possibility of switching to intelligent quarantine after April 24.

This was reported by a deputy of the faction “Servant of the People”, a representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Vasyl Mokan on Facebook.

“The government is actively analyzing how to balance the quarantine restrictions and measures with the launch and restoration of the Ukrainian economy, because each week of quarantine represents a big economic loss for the state. I predict that the quarantine measures can be extended after April 24, but the option is being studied transition to the so-called smart mode, where possible, restrictions will weaken, “he wrote.

Mokan added that the simplified quarantine regime would certainly not concern mass events and the restoration of educational establishments.

According to him, in Ukraine, they can allow certain categories of the population who are not exposed to morbidity to go to work in order to restore activity in the state economically.

As reported, since March 12, Ukraine has introduced quarantine in educational institutions and a number of other measures to control the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

On March 25, an emergency was introduced across Ukraine. Quarantine extended until April 24.

Closed commercial facilities, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and banks. They also stopped the works of the metros in Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro, the interurban services of cars, rail and air were interrupted

On April 2, the government adopted a decree to tighten up quarantine restrictions. Thus, since April 6, quarantine in Ukraine became more difficult, in particular, it was forbidden to walk on the streets for more than two years and to be in public places without mask or respirator.

According to the cost center, in Ukraine, 4,161 cases of COVID-19 have been laboratory confirmed, of which 116 have been fatal, 186 patients have recovered. 397 new cases were recorded per day.
