Cabinet plans to extend the quarantine until May, but at the same time, a gradual relaxation of the restrictive measures is expected.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov during a live broadcast of the YouTube channel FranchTV.
“Officially – until April 20, but there will certainly be an extension until May. However, from the beginning of next month, there will be an indulgence: for certain stores, transport, etc.,” said Fedorov .

As reported, since March 12, Ukraine has introduced quarantine in educational institutions and a number of other measures to control the spread of coronavirus infections. Thereafter, the government extended quarantine until April 24. Since April 6, restrictive measures have been tightened.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that it would only be possible to speak of a weakening of quarantine measures in Ukraine in May if the number of Covid-19 diseases decreased.

On the morning of April 9, in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Health, 1892 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus were confirmed, including 57 fatal, 45 patients recovered. During the day, 224 new cases were recorded.
