Starts to take shape HTC Desire 20 Prothe next smartphone from a Taiwanese company we started talking about last weekend (click here for more details). Today, Evan Blass should anticipate the middle-class design, confirming rumors about a kind of “mixture” between OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Mi 10.
In short, at least on an aesthetic level, it starts with a good foundation: a display with especially optimized frames stands out, as well as the presence of hole, in the upper left corner, suitable for placing the front camera. On the back, in addition to the fingerprint sensor and the HTC logo, is four cameras located vertically and with an LED flash located on the side (as happens on the aforementioned Mi 10).
It is a pity, however, that the good news may end here. HTC Desire 20 Pro already was the protagonist of the standard that appeared on GeekBench, offering a mid-low level technical passport: more specifically, the hypotheses of one Snapdragon 660 on board to lower expectations, with 6 GB RAM and Android 10 as standard to accompany it.
It’s hard to come up with an immediate turn for the manufacturer with this HTC Desire 20 Pro. The deep and probably irreversible crisis that characterized the past two years will not be significantly mitigated by this type of device.
