Prime Minister Denis Shmygal called on his compatriots to bow their heads towards those who gave their lives for peace to future generations.
He wrote about it in his Telegram.
“On this day of commemoration and reconciliation – Ukraine, as well as the whole world, is honoring the memory of those who died during the Second World War. I urge everyone to bow their heads towards those who gave their lives so that you and I could live in peace and happiness. We will be worthy of their memory, always remember them. Also remember how easy it is to lose the world and how difficult it is to return it, “says the message.
The head of government stressed: “This should not be repeated. Never again.”
