The press secretary to the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, said that Moscow was not involved in the protests that broke out in the United States.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to the agency TASS.
Dmitry Peskov hastened to comment on the statement by former national security adviser Barack Obama Susan Rice. The American politician suggested that the Russian Federation could be involved in the protests that broke out in the United States.
Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said that Moscow had absolutely nothing to do with what was going on in the United States. The representative of Putin noted that the Russian Federation is closely monitoring the events currently taking place in the United States, but that there is no interference from the Russian Federation in these events.
“We have never interfered in American affairs, and now we are not going to interfere,” said Peskov.
According to a spokesperson for the Russian president, the protests currently taking place in the United States are purely internal affairs of the United States.
But as for Susan Rice’s statement, Peskov qualified it so that it “does not reflect Washington’s official position”.
Recall that Susan Rice suggested that Moscow could be involved in the riots during the demonstrations. The American politician suggested that the Russian Federation could finance certain extremist groups which participated in the protests. In addition, Rice suggested that with the help of social networks in the Russian Federation, she could incite some extremists into active action.
Earlier, we reported that the representative of the illegal armed group, Zhuchkovsky, was scandalized that the former “DNR officials” were fleeing ORDLO.
