SBU has launched lawsuits against six companies for poor-quality remedies for doctors – OP
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will personally control the purchase of personal protective equipment, which will be made by the Ministry of Health.
This was discussed during a traditional conference call to combat the spread of the coronavirus, the press service of the head of state.
It should be noted that the president “did not agree that Ukrainian hospitals now have everything they need in sufficient quantity”.
“We are receiving signals that not everything is in hospitals. Despite the government’s figure that 70% of medical facilities are provided, some funds are not there. While doctors receive 600% antiseptic, there are only 16% disposable gowns, and 4% disposable glasses and shields, and 51% biosafety suits. Therefore, hospitals are not provided. To talk about 70% security, we have to have all goods at 70%, ”said Zelensky.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said the government has set itself the task of providing a three-month supply of medicines. Priority will be given to suppliers who will be able to deliver medical equipment in the near future.

As noted, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal instructed to build a three-month supply of personal protective equipment in hospitals during the first wave. At the same time, the head of government stressed that products made in Ukraine should be a priority in public procurement. It also instructed the Ministry of the Economy to provide a list of manufacturers of personal protective equipment, drugs and equipment. According to him, all the requirements for manufacturers should be unified.
