SBU reported suspicions to two other representatives of the Russian special services

The Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine is conducting a preliminary investigation into the incitement to high treason by employees of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the FSB.
This was reported by the SBU press service.
“As part of the criminal proceedings, the SBU noted that in July 2019, an officer of the 3rd operational department of the 316th Intelligence Center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had incited a Ukrainian citizen to commit treason at the expense of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability. The Russian intelligence officer acted in preliminary agreement with a former employee of the Main Directorate of Security Services of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, who, after the annexation of the peninsula, changed his oath of office and became a member of the FSB of the Russian Federation, ” said the report.
The Russian special services planned to receive assistance from Ukraine to carry out subversive activities against our State, in particular by collecting and transmitting military information concerning the armed forces of Ukraine.

Two representatives of the Russian special services reported suspicions of having committed a crime under Part 2 of Art. 27, part 2, article 28, part 1, article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The procedural management of criminal proceedings is provided by the Office of the Prosecutor General, operational support is provided by the Counterintelligence Department of the SBU.
As reported, SBU investigators this week announced a suspicion to another Russian intelligence officer, who incited the deputy chief of protocol of the Prime Minister of Ukraine to treason.
