SBU unveiled corruption plan at head of state agency of the exclusion zone

Employees of the security services of Ukraine exposed the bribery mechanism in the calculation of bonuses to heads of state enterprises which are part of the National Agency of Ukraine for the management of the exclusion zone.

“The agents of special services established that the officials of public enterprises suggested to the president of the agency to charge them quarterly bonuses of up to 500,000 UAH, 50% of which promised to be transferred to him. The president immediately reported the corruption proposal to the Security Service of Ukraine and helped denounce the attackers, “said the report.

Employees of the SBU, in particular, documented the fact that the director of one of the state-owned enterprises had handed over 210,000 UAH to the president of the agency for charging him a bonus of more than 430,000 UAH.

As part of the preliminary investigation into criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the director of a public enterprise was informed of a suspicion of the commission of an offense, the question of the choice of a preventive measure was being decided.

Investigative actions are underway to establish other possible facts of corruption, as well as the legality of the bonuses accrued to officials of state enterprises belonging to the management of the Ukrainian State Agency for the Management of exclusion zone.

As reported, GAZO said Monday, April 27, that NABU and SBU were conducting searches of the state agency’s premises.

“In particular, the police have become familiar with the documents which may be linked to a potential offense under article 369 of the Criminal Code (offering or granting undue advantages to a civil servant – editor’s note)., – noted in the department.

The president of the National Agency for the Management of the Exclusion Zone, Sergei Kalashnik, said that he would facilitate the overall investigation and provide all the documents and information that would allow him to consider the situation in an impartial manner.

As you know, Kalashnik has been the president of GAZO since April. Before that, the State Agency for the Exclusion Zone Management was headed by Ekaterina Pavlova in February.
