School year in schools can start on September 1 – Ministry of Education
The students’ new school year is expected to start on September 1.
This was reported by the Minister of Education and Science Lyubomir Mandziy in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
“Until the end of June, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, we are preparing additional protocols which will determine the security measures in educational establishments until the return of the children from September 1. I am sure that the students’ new school year will start on September 1st. For first year students, September 17. “We have planned remedial training next year so that each teacher understands how their students master the material,” she said.
Mandziy noted that there was no decision to open schools on September 1 or to continue studying online at Cabinet. According to her, everything will depend on the epidemic situation in Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, the main UPR session will start on June 25 with math tests and end on July 17 with chemistry tests. 379,493 participants registered, who selected 1,227,154 tests.
On June 22, President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law that provides that school graduates in 2020 will pass final state certification, including in the form of an independent external assessment, if desired. This year, WNV will only be mandatory for graduates who plan to enter universities.
