Seven regions did not provide data on coronavirus testing - Stepanov

The Ministry of Health discovers why 7 regions have not provided data on PCR tests, which does not allow objective statistics for Ukraine to be established.

This was announced during a briefing by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.

“For the day before, 1988 studies were carried out by PCR. Such a number of tests is due to the fact that, first, the number of people who presented the appropriate symptoms and who had to undergo PCR for Easter has decreased. But, on the other hand, during the last day, 7 regions did not submit any information on coronavirus testing among Ukrainians. These are the regions of Vinnytsia, Lugansk, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson and Khmelnitsky, “said Stepanov.

He added that he had already given the relevant order to the head of the health services, Viktor Lyashko, who would discover the reasons for the situation and the links with it.

“And after getting the answers, we will already draw conclusions,” said the minister.
