Sheremet case: court to change Kuzmenko preventive measure has been postponed to May 29
The Kiev Pechersky District Court again postponed the hearing on the modification of the suspect’s preventive measure in the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, the doctor and volunteer Yulia Kuzmenko – on May 29.

“The meeting did not take place due to the non-appearance of the prosecutor. Rescheduled for tomorrow, May 29, at 1:45 pm, “said Bespaly.
As reported, on May 22, the Kiev Pechersk court postponed consideration of the request to vary the preventive measure of the suspect Yulia Kuzmenko due to the non-appearance of the prosecutor.
Home Affairs Minister Arsen Avakov announced on December 12, 2019 the detention and the suspicion of the accused in the Sheremet murder case.
In particular, the investigation suspects the doctor and volunteer Yulia Kuzmenko, the nurse of one of the paratrooper battalions Yana Dugar and the ATO veteran Andrei Antonenko.
Kuzmenko and Antonenko are now in prison.

On May 25, the Pechersk court in Kiev granted the request of the prosecutors and modified the preventive measure of Yana Dugar, suspected of the murder of the journalist Pavel Sheremet, from the house arrest to bail in the amount of 168 thousand hryvnia.
Dugar’s lawyer Vitaliy Kolomiyets later said that more than 500 people had transferred the necessary amount in less than a day to deposit for Dugar.
Journalist Pavel Sheremet died on July 20, 2016 in Kiev following a car explosion.
