Shmygal said that spent billions of funds to fight the coronavirus
Coronavirus Foundation funds were spent on pension reform, assistance to the unemployed, additional FLP payments with children, as well as additional purchases from hospitals and doctors’ salaries.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said so in an hour of questions to the government, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“What exactly has been done by the authorities during the quarantine period to reduce the negative impact of the pandemic crisis? A month ago, we adopted an emergency budget and created a coronavirus fund for 65 billion UAH, “said Shmygal.
He explained what these funds were spent on.
“20 billion UAH were spent on pension reform, 6 billion were received by funds that will help the unemployed – especially those who have lost their jobs in recent months. These are 196,000 people officially listed on the stock market. An additional 1.6 billion UAH for FLP families with children. Various medical purchases for hospitals were funded for 2 billion UAH. With the latest decision, we allocated 3.1 billion UAH to the Ministry of Health for additional purchases in hospitals and doctors’ salaries, “added Shmygal.
