The Cabinet of Ministers intends to attract volunteers to the process of leaving the country to monitor citizens’ compliance with anti-epidemic rules in places of potential crowds.
This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal in his Telegram channel.
“Coping with the coronavirus pandemic is our common concern. Therefore, it is important that people do not forget about the dangers posed by COVID-19, but do not endanger the environment. To this end, the government plans to attract volunteers who will monitor citizens’ compliance with anti-epidemic rules in places of potential overcrowding. They will also inform them of the correct wearing of masks, respect for social distance, rules for visiting stores and catering establishments, ”wrote Shmygal.
According to him, such an initiative aimed at attracting citizens to a common cause appeared for the first time in Italy, which suffered the most from the pandemic in Europe. The country has shown solidarity in the fight against coronaviruses.

“The president has already supported the idea, and the Ministry of Social Policy will be able to implement it,” added the head of government.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in a traditional meeting with representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and key ministries responsible for measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 welcomed the government’s idea. In his view, volunteers could remind people of the need for social distance by wearing masks.
