Former adviser to the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Sergei Sivokho said that he continued to implement peace initiatives in the Donbass.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to the portal DonPress
Although Sergei Sivokho was removed from his post as advisor to the secretary of the Security and National Defense Council, he said he continued to work on the implementation of the peace initiatives of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. The journalists of course asked how Mr. Sivokho continues to “promote” peace initiatives in the Donbass.
To which Sivokho replied that he is still the leader of the platform for national reconciliation and unity.
“I do it now with the status of Sergey Sivokho, with the status of leader of the National Platform for Reconciliation and Unity,” said Sivokho.
He also added that in order to implement the peace initiatives of the Head of State and work for peace, it is not necessary to have a statute for this.
Sivokho added that Vladimir Zelensky’s peace initiatives were supported by 73% of the voters who voted for Zelensky in the elections, and therefore for his ideas. Therefore, Sivokho believes that it is necessary not to stop and to continue to implement peace initiatives in the Donbass.
Earlier, we reported that Sivokho had stated that he continued to maintain contact with representatives of the occupied territories.
