Stepanov calls for quarantine during vacation weekends
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov is confident that strict adherence to quarantine rules will help reduce the incidence of COVID-19.

“In most European countries, in addition to relaxing the quarantine, the same thing happens in Ukraine, but they strictly respect the rules that are established. The Minister noted that compliance with these rules, including in European countries, affects the fact that they do not have a large increase in the incidence of COVID-19.

At the same time, the head of the health ministry urged Ukrainians to respect quarantine restrictions during the current holiday weekend on Constitution Day.

As the Minister pointed out, to defeat COVID-19 in Ukraine, it is necessary to minimize contact and, if possible, stay at home.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health noted that during the last day, a record number of COVID-19 patients had been hospitalized – 237 people.
