Stepanov explained how each region will reduce quarantine
The Ministry of Health introduces three criteria according to which the regions of Ukraine can independently reduce quarantine.
This was announced during a briefing by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“From May 22, the so-called adaptive quarantine will be introduced by the government. We will introduce mitigation steps. Each step will respond for 10 days, and it will start on the 22nd day. We will introduce three criteria for incidence and spread of coronavirus disease. This is the incidence in the last 7 days 100,000 people. It is the number of beds in hospitals that treat patients with coronavirus. It should not exceed 50%. another criterion is the number of tests carried out in each region, since it is also very important HALE, characterizing the real picture “, – said Stepanov.
According to him, if in a particular region the data meets these criteria, he can move on to the next step to reduce quarantine.

Stepanov added that on May 22 transport and suburban transport work will resume, there will be the possibility of sporting events, but subject to certain restrictions.
As Ukrinform reported, since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, the works of the Kiev metro, Kharkov and Dnipro have been stopped, the circulation of land transport in cities, interurban and interregional services of automobile, railway and aviation has been stopped.
