This was announced during an online briefing by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“For 17 consecutive days, we observed a morbidity varying from 400 to 600 people per day. We believe that our quarantine and anti-epidemic measures have produced results. This result is that we have no such epidemics that could affect the ability of the health system to provide medical assistance, “said the minister.
Stepanov also expressed confidence that if further measures and recommendations by the Ministry of Health were followed, the coronavirus epidemic in Ukraine would be overcome.
“I am sure that if we continue to adhere to these measures and to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, the epidemic will continue as it is today, with a progressive decrease in the number of cases and an increase in the number people who have recovered so that we can fully cope with coronavirus disease. ” – he stressed.
