Sergei Sternenko and the activists who supported him during the election of a preventive measure at the Shevchenkovsky district court in Kiev came under the house of President Vladimir Zelensky.

This was reported by the Ukrinform correspondent.

Activists, in particular, lit fires there.

They want to explain to them how to comply with the court order, that Sternenko was sent to house arrest, but they appointed him to serve, according to the activist, at the address of the Odessa military unit, where , according to Sternenko, he would not be allowed to surrender because it is a sensitive establishment.

Activists also called Zelensky himself, but no one answered.

The activists chant: “Zelya away”, “Avakov – hell”, “Zelya – run”, “Throw Vova off” so that Zelensky speaks to them.

As Ukrinform reported, on June 15, Kiev’s Shevchenkovsky District Court elected Sternenko to impose duress in the form of a house arrest. At the same time, according to the activist, the place of the home arrest in the court decision indicated “a military unit in Odessa”, instead of registration, but he was not allowed to go there , because it is a sensitive establishment. “

“This decision cannot be executed,” said the activist and noted that prosecutors could then “request detention” for his non-compliance.

Sternenko announced on June 11 a suspected crime under art. 115 h.1 (intentional infliction of unlawful death on another person) and art. 263 para. 2 (transport of cold steel without the authorization provided for by law) of the Criminal Code.

On the evening of May 24, 2018, two assailants attacked Sternenko and his girlfriend. While pushing back, the activist fatally wounded one of them with a knife in the stomach. Sternenko himself and the second attacker were stabbed and wounded, which the police quickly arrested, but immediately released, granting him witness status and then state protection.
