Sternenko has left SBU and is preparing for trial
Activist Sergei Sternenko left the SBU General Investigations building in Kiev, where he was informed of suspicions earlier today and said he would prepare for a court hearing on the adoption of a preventive measure.
He told reporters near the building of the SBU’s Main Investigations Department, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“The court session will be held at the Shevchenko district court in Kiev. As soon as we know the date and time, we will notify you on social networks. It probably won’t be today, ”said Sternenko.
According to the press service of the Shevchenkovsky court, Ukrinform has not yet received a request for the selection of a preventive measure from activist Sergei Sternenko.
“At 3:27 pm, the Shevchenkovsky district court has not yet received such a request,” the court said.
Sternenko also noted that he did not see house arrest as a sweet measure for him: “It may seem to you that house arrest is not so serious, but it is a restriction of liberty. They want me to sit at home and be watched. “
