The entry of Ukrainians into the Russian Federation only on passport wants to cancel by the court
The Kiev District Administrative Court is invited to declare the Cabinet Decree illegal and invalid, according to which Ukrainian citizens need a passport to travel to the Russian Federation.

“The Kiev District Administrative Court received two lawsuits against the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the appeal of the decision, which changed the procedure for Ukrainian citizens to cross the state border with the Russian Federation “, the statement said.
As indicated, the complainants ask the court to declare Decree No. 1056 of the Council of Ministers of December 18, 2019 on the functioning of certain provisions of Ukraine’s international agreements with the Russian Federation illegal and invalid.
According to this document, as of March 1, 2020, Ukrainians are prohibited from entering, following through transit, staying and traveling in the territory of the Russian Federation on the basis of a passport of Ukrainian citizen or birth certificate for children under 16 years of age. And to travel to the territory of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian citizens need a passport.
Now the court resolves the issue of opening administrative proceedings.
