For state border services, the EU has donated thousands of protective masks, gloves, goggles and other personal protective equipment. Assistance was provided under the EU-funded project “Support for the implementation of the concept of integrated border management in Ukraine”.

“The European Union has transferred personal protective equipment to the National Border Service of Ukraine, which is the first point of contact for travelers entering Ukraine. The equipment list includes 1,000 face masks, 1,000 medical gloves, 1,000 glasses, 800 protective screens, 700 medical isolation kits, 1,000 medical blankets and 79 contactless thermometers, “said the report.
As indicated above, the provision of personal protective equipment will contribute to the solvency of the State Border Service to ensure the constant and secure management of people crossing the border, and will thus enable it to exercise border control functions. under COVID-19 conditions. Assistance is provided within the framework of the EU-funded project “Support for the implementation of integrated border management in Ukraine (EU4IBM)”.
