The experience acquired by Ukrainian doctors in Italy will be shared with other Ukrainian doctors through distance education.
This was announced at an information meeting on Saturday, April 11, said Deputy Minister of Health, chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“Colleagues from the Ministry of Health go to Skype with colleagues who are in Italy, providing medical care to patients with coronavirus, so we share their experiences. But we are waiting for them to return to their country of origin to organize a big event, a conference call and also distance learning to transfer the experience of coronavirus treatment and anti-epidemic measures taken in Italy to all our doctors, “said Lyashko.
He added that a conference call is also planned with doctors from the Chernivtsi region, who were among the first to encounter cases of coronavirus in order to share their own experiences.

As reported, on April 4, 20 Ukrainian doctors traveled to Italy for 14 days to provide assistance and learn from the fight against the coronavirus.
According to the cost center, at 9 a.m. on April 11 in Ukraine, there were 2,511 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19. The number of patients recovered (79 patients) exceeded the number of deaths (73 patients). 308 new cases were recorded per day.
