The Council of Ministers amended the decree of March 20 “on certain questions of procurement of goods, works and services necessary for the implementation of measures to prevent the occurrence and spread, the location and the elimination of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics in Ukraine “.

The corresponding decision was taken at a meeting on April 8, reports the Ukrinform correspondent.

“The draft resolution proposes to expand the list of goods, works and services necessary for the implementation of measures to combat COVID-19. This is due to the fact that on April 2, 2020, the Ministry of Health approved the standards, the treatment protocol for coronaviruses, they were supplemented by a certain list of drugs that did not exist before, and now we are importing them. in large quantities to treat our patients. We are also expanding the list of medical products used for both diagnosis and treatment of this disease, “said Health Minister Maxim Stepanov, presenting the document to members of the government.

At a meeting, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal issued a formal order to the Ministry of Health regarding the possibility of importing medicines into Ukraine for orphan patients in cases where they do not need a license and certification in order to provide this category of patients with the necessary treatment during the quarantine period.

In addition, the government amended Resolution 211 “On preventing the spread of COVID-19 acute respiratory diseases caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Ukraine”.

“The draft amendments to resolution 211 propose to determine the procedure for compulsory hospitalization of people in observatories and the procedure for payment of expenses for such events at the expense of local budgets with subsequent reimbursement of the reserve fund”, a indicated Stepanov.

According to him, the list of cases where the prohibitions provided for by the quarantine measures are not applied is also specified. First of all, this applies to people over 60.
