The figures ministry has agreed to cooperate with UNICEF
The Ministry of Digital Transformation has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“The partnership was signed by Lotta Silvander, head of the UNICEF representative office in Ukraine, and Valeriya Ionan, deputy minister for digital transformation on European integration issues,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the first joint project is the educational series “On cyberbullying for adolescents”, which is already available on the “Diya. Digital education ”.
According to Valeria Ionan, every person at least once in their life has encountered a hat on social networks, received comments or aggressive messages. “A third of the adolescents interviewed in Ukraine between the ages of 13 and 24 were victims of online bullying,” said the deputy minister.

In turn, Lotta Silvander noted that in the new reality caused by COVID-19, millions of children are temporarily locked up in their homes with gadgets.
“We have to take care of their online safety. And we are very happy to do it in such an interesting way, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, ”said the representative of UNICEF.
