The government has established the amount of compensation for vouchers for the recovery of Chernobyl
The Cabinet of Ministers established the amount of financial assistance to offset the cost of the permits granted to sanatorium recourse institutions in 2020 for the recovery of the victims of the Chernobyl disaster.
Social Policy Minister Marina Lazebnaya informed about this at a briefing on Wednesday, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Today, at a government meeting, an important decision was made to establish in 2020 the amount of cash assistance to offset the cost of vouchers for spa treatments and recreation for people affected by the Chernobyl disaster, “said Lazebnaya.
She said the cost of the vouchers will be offset by the transfer of funds to the resort’s sanatorium.

Lazebnaya noted that such a decision would affect around 24,000 people.
In accordance with the draft resolution, we are talking about providing treatment in a sanatorium to citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster, classified in category I, and to disabled children whose disability is associated with the Chernobyl disaster, accompanied by one of the parents or the person replacing them.
