An electronic service is being developed which will provide electronic access to information on the location of registration of identity card holders.
This was stated by the president of the National Migration Service Maxim Sokolyuk during the presentation of a digital identity passport and a biometric passport of a Ukrainian citizen in the Diya mobile application, reports a correspondent from Ukrinform.
“A service will soon appear which will be able to show exactly where people with identity cards are registered in the Diya app and on the portal,” he said.
The person in charge of the HMS underlined that the information which already appears in the register of the place of registration will be transmitted by electronic means.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, promised to engrave his print with a residence permit after the introduction of such an electronic service.

“I promised myself to burn this piece of paper when we do this, because for me it’s a matter of principle,” added Fedorov.
