The head of the OP announces the creation of a public council with the participation of veterans and activists
In the near future, the President’s Office will present a public council, which will include veterans of the war and figures of authority.
This was announced by the head of the OP Andrey Yermak during the online discussion “Pandemic, reform, war and peace: a view of the White House of Ukraine”, organized by the Atlantic Council and published on Facebook.
“In the near future, with the help of the president’s office, a public council will begin to function, which will consist of war heroes from Donbas, activists and authoritative people who are the conscience of our nation,” said the head of the PO.
According to Ermak, the problems that have arisen in society will be addressed for the discussion of the newly created public council.
“And all questions, such as with regard to Ms. Chornovol (former people’s deputy Tatyana Chornovol – editor’s note), will be submitted to the public debate of this council. A company which has paid such a high price for its independence has the right to ask questions today, but without interfering with justice, public dialogue and without recourse to political engagement, “he said.
The head of the OP clarified that the public council will work in many fields, in particular “with the mothers of our heroes who died in Donbass, on the rehabilitation of our soldiers, to control the exchanges” …
Ermak suggested that this public council could be submitted before the end of this week.
As indicated, on April 10, Tatyana Chornovol, popular deputy of the 8th convocation, reported on the social network that a search was underway in her house. She also posted a screenshot of the search order, which covers the events of February 2014.
Over time, the GDB informed that Chornovil was suspected of intentional murder due to an arson attack on the Party of Regions office in 2014.

On April 14, a hearing began in the capital’s Pechersk district court to elect Chornovol a preventive measure. The public prosecutor’s office asked him to carry out a 24-hour house arrest. At the same time, members of the factions of European Solidarity and the Fatherland declared themselves ready to release Chornovol. The court elected former deputy Tatiana Chornovol a preventive measure in the form of a 24 hour house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
