The head of the relevant department, Alexander Tkachenko, said that the cinemas could resume work at the earliest next month.
The Minister wrote about this in his Telegramwrites “MFN”.
According to him, cinemas in Ukraine will resume their work no later than July 2:
“Today, we are in such realities:
- cinemas can’t be half empty – it’s a loss, owners can’t pay wages to employees
- the dates of the premieres of the films (world and Ukrainian) have been postponed – there is nothing to show in cinemas. “
Tkachenko noted that he had had a meeting with specialized people’s deputies, the Minister of Health and representatives of the film industry. They came to the conclusion that cinemas can only gradually resume work from June 2.
Recall that we wrote earlier that the Ministry of Health is concerned about the epidemic of coronavirus in Ukraine.
