The Ministry of Education explains errors in video tutorials due to lack of time in production

A number of error-prone video tutorials have occurred due to lack of time for expert production verification.

This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science.

“In a number of video tutorials that have been released in the past 5 days, there were errors that were not removed from the video at the production stage. The situation when material with errors is released is unacceptable. The main reason is the lack of time. From the idea of creating a course on the first outing only 2 weeks have passed. All lessons were taken out of production overnight on the eve of air – about 30 videos a day. With such delays, there was not enough time for the compulsory review of lessons by experts, “said the report.

Now, as indicated to the Ministry of Education and Science, independent experts will join the course verification, who will be able to watch the video and make corrections before going on the air.

As indicated, the lessons are broadcast daily from Monday to Friday, at least until the end of the quarantine. They start at 10:00 a.m. every day.

In particular, students have access to courses in: Ukrainian, Ukrainian literature, history of Ukraine, world history, English, physics, algebra, geometry, geography, chemistry and biology.

The filming takes place at the Novopechersky school in Kiev. Ukrainian stars participate in video lessons: presenters, musicians, actors, athletes, etc. They answer questions, solve problems and conduct experiments with teachers.

The project was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada Commission on Education, Science and Innovation, from the Oswitoria Public Union, as well as more than 40 caring teachers who agreed to become teachers across the country.

On April 6, 2020, the All-Ukrainian School Online project was launched, in which video lessons in 11 subjects for students in grades 5 to 11 will be published. The broadcasts are broadcast by PlusPlus, 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, Piksel, ZIK, UNIAN TB, Indigo, Rada, UA Culture, UA: Pershiy, M1, as well as the television channel Home “(for students from the occupied territories) and the Megogo media service. Students will also be able to watch these lessons on Facebook and YouTube.
