The Ministry of Health has approved temporary recommendations on the organization of anti-epidemic measures in physical education and sports establishments.

This is stated in the decision of the Chief Medical Officer of State, which comes into force on June 1, 2020.

Therefore, the resolution provides for temperature control for all employees and visitors; entry into the premises at the rate of one person maximum per 10 square meters m. It should be noted that group lessons are conducted exclusively by appointment.

The decree also stipulates that in a pool of 50 m on one lane should not be more than 4 people, 25 m not more than 2 people. Swimming pools are authorized for individual visits; for sports training groups of 2 years and over.

It should be noted that at the entrance to the premises and the room must be installed antiseptics.

As indicated, the opening of gymnasiums and swimming pools, depending on the epidemiological situation, is possible from June 1.

As Ukrinform reported, at a meeting on May 20, the Cabinet decided to introduce adaptive quarantine until June 22.

In particular, it is envisaged to weaken or end anti-epidemic measures in the regions on the basis of a decision of the regional commission for technological and environmental security and emergency situations (fuel and energy and situations emergency).

The decision is made taking into account the assessment of the epidemic situation and the presence of three signs in the region at the same time: the incidence should be less than 12 people per 100,000 people; bed congestion in health facilities designated for the hospitalization of patients with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should be less than 50%; the average number of PCR tests should be more than 12 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 7 days.

As of May 29, 22,811 cases of COVID-19 have been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine. Per day – 429 new cases.
