Prolonged use of a medical mask cannot lead to carbon dioxide poisoning.

This is noted on the Coronavirus-info Telegram channel.

“The only thing that awaits you after prolonged wearing of a medical mask is discomfort. It does not lead to carbon dioxide poisoning or oxygen deficiency. However, the protection provided by the medical mask is capable of saving lives, and this is much more precious than short-term discomfort, “said the Ministry of Health.
