The Ministry of Health does not rule out an increase in quarantine because of the increase in the number of patients with COVID-19
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov has not ruled out the introduction of additional restrictions in Ukraine in the event of a further increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus.
This was stated by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov during an online briefing on Saturday, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“The virus does not select by region, neither by sex, nor by age. Therefore, if we do not follow the rules, strictly follow the rules regarding mitigation (quarantine – note). We will see such figures – we will be forced to introduce other restrictions, “said Stepanov.
According to him, the last three days an anti-record has been recorded in the number of new patients.
The Minister is convinced that the main reason for the increased incidence of COVID-19 is citizens’ neglect of the recommendations of the Minister of Health.
