The Ministry of Health explained how to buy ELISA tests
The purchase of an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the determination of antibodies to coronavirus infection (ELISA tests) is decentralized.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov shared this during a briefing on June 7, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“The acquisition of ELISA tests is decentralized, because the laboratories that can work with ELISA tests are located in districts, regional hospitals, city hospitals. Therefore, this opportunity is provided specifically to local authorities, hospitals premises, they are purchased and used in accordance with an approved algorithm of the Ministry of Health, “said Stepanov.

He noted that to date, approximately 40,600 ELISA tests have been performed.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Ukraine in late May, they began ELISA testing, which allows the detection of antibodies against the coronavirus in the human body.
As of June 7, 26,999 cases of COVID-19 have been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine. 485 new cases were recorded per day.
