The Ministry of Health will publish a list of countries classified into “red” and “green” zones – Stepanov
Given the resumption of Ukrainian international air service, announced on June 15, the Ministry of Health will publish a list of countries classified as “red” and “green” in terms of incidence rate of COVID-19.
“Regarding information, the Ministry of Health will publish this list of countries to make it easier for everyone to use air traffic,” said Stepanov.
He said that on the issue of resumption of international flights, the Ministry of Health chooses the format for dividing the countries into “red” and “green” zones.
“The red zone is a country with a high prevalence of coronavirus, with an epidemiological situation worse than in Ukraine. We do this in terms of the number of active diseases per 100,000 people. That is to say how much directly to a certain date and per 100,000 inhabitants “We will set this indicator at 40 per 100,000 inhabitants. That is to say the countries where more than this indicator will be in the red zone. And countries where there are fewer will be green, “said the minister.
According to him, “foreigners who fly to Ukraine must have an insurance policy covering COVID-19 treatment”.

“Citizens who come from countries assigned to the red zone will experience self-isolation or self-preservation. Foreigners who will steal from countries in the green zone should not go through all of these things, respectively,” added the minister.
