The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has completed an investigation into the suspicions of MP Yaroslav Dubnevich in possession of 93.28 million UAH from the PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
This was reported by the department’s press service.
“The investigation estimates that the people’s deputy, along with eight other people, organized a program, following which the branch of the production support center of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia proceeded to purchase switching products from significantly higher prices between December 2015 and March 2017 “. in the message.
According to the survey, only one company manufactures these products in Ukraine – PJSC Dnepropetrovsk Switch Plant. However, Ukrzaliznytsia did not acquire it directly, but used the services of two intermediary links – Argo LLC and KRT Corporation – of which the beneficial owner was an assistant.
The NABU notes that the cost of production has increased at each stage of mediation. The Dnepropetrovsk switching plant sold the products of KRT Corporation for 525.9 million UAH, KRT Corporation sold it to ARGO for 631.4 million UAH (+ 20%) and ARGO sold Ukrzaliznytsia for 637.9 million UAH (+ 1%). In fact, the products were delivered to Ukrzaliznytsia directly from the manufacturing plant.
“As a result of such actions, the PJSC” TsOP “” Ukrzaliznytsia “branch caused losses of UA 93.28 million. The investigation revealed that the funds illegally received had been distributed to participants in the corruption program “, said NABU.
The agency recalled that NABU detectives had started to investigate these facts in May 2016. In January 2019, seven people involved in the implementation of the corruption regime were informed of the suspicions. Subsequently, in February, another participant was arrested and informed of the suspicions – the former deputy head of the branch of the Production Support Center of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
In May 2019, an investigation into these eight people was completed. Since then, the suspects have seen the file.
