The National Council is concerned about the weak respect of the linguistic quotas and requests explanations to the television channels
The National Council for Television and Radio has sent letters to the heads of television and radio organizations asking them to explain their editorial policy regarding the mandatory share of sound in the Ukrainian language.

“The last check by the regulator showed that compliance with the requirements established by law was done in the minimum percentage,” said the message.
As previously reported, the regulator is concerned about this situation and sees the potential risk of violating existing standards, as well as complications when they are implemented in the future after the entry into force of certain provisions of Ukrainian law. on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state language.
