The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Ukrainian Parliament carried out an audit of the compliance of the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the right to privacy in the Diya application.
This was reported by the Ombudsman’s press service in Telegram.
“The staff of the Secretariat of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights verified the compliance of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and of SE DII with the right to privacy, in particular regarding the processing of personal data during the operation of the Unified State web portal for the electronic services of the Diya portal and the mobile applications “Diya” and “Act at home”, according to the message.
As indicated, taking into account the elements developed, according to the results of the control measures, “violations of the requirements of the law in the field of protection of personal data during the operation of the Diya portal and the Diya and Act at home mobile applications do are not found. “

At the same time, according to the results of the audit of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the employees of the Office of the Commissioner noted a number of shortcomings which do not affect the processing of personal data of portal users and mobile apps
