“In order to prevent the violations, more than 22,000 police and soldiers from the National Guard of Ukraine will be involved in the service,” said the statement.

As the NPU recalled, by the decision of the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies dated April 21, 2020, the presidents of the state and oblast administrations of Kiev with the participation of local governments were responsible for prohibiting citizens from visiting cemeteries and burial places on traditional after the Easter funeral. burial case.

Police officers and the National Guard during the funeral will oversee the rule of law and order, and monitor compliance with the quarantine restrictions. In particular, reinforced patrols will be on duty near the cemeteries. At the same time, the main task of law enforcement officials is to carry out explanatory work on the prohibition of visits to burial sites and the need to comply with all quarantine restrictions, as these measures aim to preserve people’s health and life.
