Since the start of restrictive measures in Ukraine, law enforcement officials have developed approximately 7,000 administrative protocols.
This was stated by the director of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko on the airwaves of Direct TV, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“Since the start of restrictive measures, about 7,000 administrative protocols (it has been drafted – ed.), According to the latest summary. In particular, there are also clerics, ”said Shevchenko.
He said on Saturday and Sunday April 18 and 19, during Easter services near churches across the country, more than 22,000 police and the National Guard will be on duty.
According to Shevchenko, law enforcement officials will first do some explanatory work so that citizens who nevertheless decide to come to the temple are there at the maximum distance from each other while respecting personal security measures.
“But if it is not possible to reach the conscience of citizens prophylactically, as Klimenko said, they are ready to use more severe measures – namely administrative sanctions,” said Shevchenko.

At the same time, he noted that the Interior Ministry is urging citizens not to come to churches and spend Easter at home.
He recalled that last year more than 7.5 million Ukrainians participated in the celebration of Easter in churches and temples of different faiths.
“Even if a tenth of this large figure comes to the temple or under the temple, it will be very risky. Therefore, we are constantly working with clerics of different faiths in the format of negotiations with the Council of Churches, and we urge them to call their flock accordingly, to stay at home during the Easter holidays, “said Shevchenko.
