Poroshenko Charitable Fund has sent 20,000 people to hospitals in different regions of Ukraine protective suits for medical workers.

“20,000 protective suits for medical workers in Poroshenko have already been delivered from China, distributed and sent to hospitals in different regions of Ukraine,” the message said.

In particular, the Poroshenko Foundation and the company ROSHEN donated 8,150 combinations to hospitals in Kiev, 2,300 others were supplied to medical establishments in the Kiev region. 3000 costumes were sent to the Chernivtsi region. In the Vinnitsa region – 2200, in Chernihiv – 1650 pieces. In the Poltava region – 400 combinations. 700 suits were delivered to the Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. 400 coveralls were sent to hospitals in the Lviv and Odessa regions. In the Rivne and Cherkasy regions – 300 sets. 700 costumes have been transferred to Volyn, Zaporozhye, Dnipro, Sumy, Kropyvnytskyi, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky and Transcarpathia, the press service said.
“Doctors should have the necessary protective equipment. ROSHEN has concluded an additional agreement, payment has been made this week and the total number of protective suits that will be provided by Ukrainian doctors exceeds 130,000. This will allow for the first time to have reliable protection, shoe covers , masks, protective suits that will protect the health of doctors, “said the fifth president of Ukraine, the leader of Euro Solidarity Petro Poroshenko.

In addition, according to the press service, funds from the Poroshenko Foundation are restoring mechanical ventilation devices in various medical institutions across the country – because the purchase of new equipment is extremely difficult due to the high demand on the world market . The fund purchased resuscitation equipment for hospitals in the Ternopil, Lviv, Dnipro, Vinnitsa and Odessa area – these are patient monitors, pulse oximeters, syringe pumps, surgical suction pumps, laryngoscopes, as well as special glasses, masks, gloves and other necessary equipment.
As indicated, in Ukraine, on the morning of Saturday April 11, 2511 cases of coronavirus infection were registered, 73 people died.
