The Petro Poroshenko Foundation donated the first batch of protective medical suits that were purchased and delivered from China to hospitals in the regions of Ukraine.
This is indicated in a message on the fund’s Facebook page.
“The first batch of protective suits from the Poroshenko Foundation and the Roshen company, which were purchased and delivered from China, is being transferred to hospitals in the regions of Ukraine,” the statement said.
In particular, 1,500 sets will be sent to hospitals in the Chernivtsi region, 3,050 sets in the cities of Kiev, 1,500 sets in Vinnytsia, 400 sets in Kremenchug (Poltava region), 1,050 sets in Chernihiv, 600 in the city from Bila Tserkva and 600 from Bila Tserkva. together.
In addition, 200 sets will go to hospitals in the Ternopil region, 200 – to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, 200 sets – to the Odessa region, 150 – to the Rivne region, 150 sets will go to the Cherkasia, 100 others – in Transcarpathia.
Earlier, it was reported that the Poroshenko Foundation and the Roshen company have already purchased 30,000 protective suits for medical workers in China and another 100,000 in South Korea. Their delivery is scheduled for April.

In addition, the Roshen Confectionery Corporation purchased 10 portable X-ray machines made in South Korea. They plan to deliver them to Ukraine in two weeks. Such devices can quickly detect pneumonia in patients with coronavirus. The company said the devices were ordered in March, but due to the huge enthusiasm in the global equipment market, they could be received before mid-April.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Ukraine, on the morning of Tuesday, April 7, 1,462 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded, 45 people died, 28 patients recovered. During the day, 143 new cases were recorded.
