“The Chernobyl catastrophe is, without exaggeration, a catastrophe on a planetary scale. It has become not only a bitter lesson from the recent past, but also a warning for the future. The planet Earth is the cradle and the house of all humanity, and therefore its preservation is the responsibility of each person and the common duty of all the nations of the world, “underlined Vladimir Zelensky.

Those present honored the memory of the rescuers with a minute of silence.
