The situation on the foreign exchange market of Ukraine on May 29, 2020: the NBU raised the hryvnia

The National Bank of Ukraine updated the official exchange rates on May 29, 2020.

The National Bank of Ukraine established official exchange rates on May 29, 2020. The price of the US dollar stopped at around 26.90 hryvnia, 10 kopecks lower than the previous banking day. And the euro has become cheaper by 9 kopecks and today costs 29.62 hryvnia for 1 euro.

Official exchange rates for May 29:

1 US dollar costs 26,1059 hryvnias;

1 euro – 29.6234 hryvnias;

1 Russian ruble – 0.3803 hryvnias.

Average spot market exchange rate:

– dollar: purchase of 26.80 hryvnia, sale of 27.10 hryvnia per unit;

– Euro: purchase of 29.30 hryvnias, sale of 29.75 hryvnias per unit.
