The situation on the foreign exchange market on May 21, 2020: the hryvnia could not resist the pressure and fell



The National Bank of Ukraine updated the official exchange rate on May 21, 2020.

The National Bank of Ukraine established official exchange rates on May 21, 2020. The price of the US dollar stopped at around 26.58 UAH, 7 kopecks higher than the previous banking day. And the euro has become more expensive by 12 kopecks and today costs 29.14 hryvnia for 1 euro.

Official May 21 exchange rates:

1 US dollar costs 26.5854 hryvnias;

1 euro – 29,1493 hryvnia;

1 Russian ruble – 0.3709 hryvnias.

Average spot market exchange rate:

– dollar: purchase of 26.60 hryvnia, sale of 26.9 hryvnia per unit;

– Euro: purchase of 28.90 hryvnia, sale of 29.40 hryvnia per unit.
