The Ukrainian project is one of the winners of the international COVID-19 hackathon counterattack
A team of participants from Switzerland, Ukraine, the United States and India won the EUvs virus organized by the European Commission’s international anti-coronavirus hackathon.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on Facebook.
“The European Commission, together with 30 European hackathon organizers, conducted a pan-European online hackathon EUvsVirus to create innovative solutions to fight the coronavirus epidemic … 316 teams from Ukraine submitted 50 ideas which submitted 50 ideas. It was one of these teams that won in the “Distance Work and Education” direction. The project “The village – where the world is your class” (in Ukrainian, “The village where the world is your learning class”) was jointly developed by participants from Switzerland, Ukraine, the United States and from India, “the statement said.
The department said a total of 22.6 thousand participants from 39 countries participated in the hackathon, which offered 2.1 thousand ideas for fighting the virus.
EUvsVirus has developed a solution for six different areas: health and life; business preservation; distance work and education; social and political cohesion; digital finance; An open reference for specific problems identified by the participants.
