“We plan to perform a UPR from June 25 to July 17. Before that, from July 15 to 17, we must carry out tests. To be safe, we are working on an algorithm which must be approved by the medical officer of health of the ‘State,’ said Mandziy.

The head of the Ministry of Education and Science added that the dates of admission to higher education establishments have been changed. The universities themselves are expected to publish the terms and conditions on their sites soon. Submission of documents will also be delayed, this will happen in August. At the same time, the admission procedure itself has not changed.

Mandziy also said that schooling would last until the end of May at a distance.

“In schools, education will last until the end of May, as planned by the school year, but we understand that it will only be done using distance learning technologies. As for pre-school establishments, there is no concept of graduation, so they can and will work during the summer given the epidemiological situation, “she said.

The official added that for first-year admission, the schools themselves must publish the conditions and rules for submitting documents. Most often, it is an online registration or an e-mail, and personally, it will be possible to transport documents after the end of the quarantine. There is no competition for admission into the first year, she said.

As reported by Ukrinform, 70 educational centers work for applicants from Crimea and the temporarily occupied Donbas territories through which they can enter Ukrainian universities. In addition, the services of educational centers can be used by graduates of schools living in establishments located on the front line.
