Russian President Vladimir Putin has finally decided on the date of a popular referendum in which the Russians will decide the fate of the constitutional amendments.
On this subject, it is written “MFN” referring to “TASS“.
The all-Russian vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. According to the publication, the head of the Kremlin thus supported the proposal of the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova , who, in fact, chose the date of the vote.
Putin himself thinks that the date of July 1 is impeccable. He also said that July 1 would be a holiday and expressed the hope that the Russians would not miss the vote.
It is also reported that the polling stations will open one week before July 1 and that voting will be possible in advance from June 25 to July 1 inclusive, without valid reason. The CEC of the Russian Federation suggests issuing ballots to people without entering passport data and voting at home.
Recall that we wrote earlier that Putin approved the constitutional amendment, which will reset his previous terms.
