Ukraine is expected to spend another $ 150 million on coronavirus and social assistance for poor citizens.
It is reported by the “MFN” referring to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
The press service of the Ministry of Finance said that the World Bank had approved payments to Ukraine in the amount of $ 150 million:
“Ukraine will receive an additional $ 150 million from the World Bank. The move was welcomed by the World Bank’s Board of Directors on Thursday, April 30. We will use this money during the period 2020-2022 ”.
The ministry added that the money will go to social assistance for low-income families and to fight the coronavirus epidemic:
“With this help, we will be able to increase the amount of social benefits for low-income families and the subsidy program.” Retired and disabled people will also receive ad hoc financial assistance. “
